Computer File Management

Organizing files and managing your information is essential. This course will provide techniques for creating folders and subfolders both on your computer and in your e-mail program to keep all your documents, photos and messages organized!

Photo Organization

We'll use Picasa, Google's free program, to organize and edit your favorite photos. Picasa finds all the picture files on your computer and organizes them for you. Explore photo enhancing features such as removing red eye, brightening/darkening photos and adding effects. Learn how to attach photos to e-mail and how to make slide shows.

Word:  Tabs & Tables

This is a must take class for Word users.  We'll explore the two options for putting text in columns and tables and setting tabs.  Never again will you use the space bar to align text.

Excel Overview

Learn spreadsheet technique such as entering numbers and text, creating simple formulas, using function, utilizing the fill handle and formatting sheets for printing.

You'll learn how to merge names from Word, Excel and Outlook into labels, letters and envelopes.

Power Point

Have you ever wanted to make an attractive/effective presentation to a board or committee in PowerPoint? Want to help your children with theirs? In this class we'll start at the beginning and create a brief presentation that will include charts and graphs as well as having text flying in from all sides.
